Help Center
Quick answers for hero sessions, campaigns, accounts, plans, saved data, safety, and troubleshooting.
Getting started
Choose the experience first.
What is the difference between quests, stories, and campaigns?
Quests are interactive and call-friendly. Stories are read-only long-form adventures. Campaigns organize a quest into chapters with account progress, notes, and scheduling.
What is Story Canvas?
Story Canvas turns a hero quest into a live scene workspace with choices, fate rolls, hero calls, editable scene staging, and a browser-saved chronicle.
Can I replay something I already completed?
Yes. Completed quest calls and all Hero Trials remain replayable. Completion is recorded without locking the experience.
Chat and calls
Two ways to connect Gemini.
Do I need my own Gemini key?
Guests can use a browser-saved Gemini key. Signed-in accounts can use hosted AI when the server key is configured and their plan has capacity.
Where do voice calls go?
Live audio goes directly from the browser to Google Gemini. VibeHero can issue a short-lived, one-use token so the server key is never exposed.
Accounts and plans
Accounts keep continuity.
What does Google Sign-In save?
Your basic Google profile, adventurer settings, favorite heroes, reviews, campaign paths, schedules, trial results, messages, call usage, and workspace state.
Are payments connected?
No. Plan selection and renewal behavior are implemented, but no payment method is collected in this launch build.
Saved data
Some data is account-backed; some stays local.
What stays in my browser?
Your optional Gemini key, quest bond progress, gifts, unsynced chat cache, whiteboards, and Quest Files stay in browser storage.
What appears in Messages?
New text turns and finalized call transcripts can sync while signed in. Existing browser-only history is not uploaded automatically.
Safety and privacy
Fantasy stays fictional.
Can heroes give real-world professional advice?
No. Heroes are fictional AI roleplay concepts. Medical, legal, financial, crisis, and safety matters should go to qualified real-world support.
What traffic data is recorded?
The local analytics table keeps public paths, coarse device and browser groups, country headers when available, and a rotating salted visitor hash for seven days. Account and API paths are excluded.
